There is no strength (in the horoscope) to tell about the issues. Even if they are born, they will die. We will tell the reason for such a blemish. As Jupiter and Saturn are in the 12th h0use, some issues will be born and they will die. This is also because of Rahu in Sagittarius.

Jupiter, karaka for children, is afflicted due to its placement in the 12th house. Being a movable Lagna, the 11th lord becomes Badhaka lord and as such Saturn also is responsible for the absence of issues to the native. The placement of Rahu in the 9th house being the 5th from 5th house, he will also be responsible for no or loss of issues. Rahu will give the results of Jupiter as he is alone in Sagittarius. The 5th lord Sun is also afflicted due to the conjunction of 6th lord Mercury and 7th lord Venus. Both Venus and Mercury are malefics for Aries Lagna. In the next verse, it is argued by the Rishis that the combination of Mercury, Venus and Sun are in the 2nd house of family, there must be a son to the native. He damaged the common path which was used by many and this was another blemish. He created trouble to the learned poets. Because of him they sang songs of ill-repute and their curses fell upon him and his family. In the end, he was in abject poverty and
16காலன்தன் நாடடைந்து கஞ்சனால் வரியப்பட்டு
சீலமில் லாதவைசிய குலமதி லுதிப்பானாகும்
ஆலம்போல் முன்னூழ்சாபம் அணுகிடும் சுதரும்தோஷம்
சாலவே தந்தைவர்க்கம நாஸ்தியாம் துணையும்தோஷம்
Reached the abode of Yama and was created again by Brahma and was born in the undisciplined Vaisya family. Like a poison, the bad deeds of the previous birth will come into operation in this birth. There will be dosha or blemish for the children. Father’s lineage will perish. Dosha will come for the co-borns too.

Previous birth of the wife

17இதுவின்றி மனைவியாலே எய்திற்று சிலதுன்பம்
அதுவினை புகலக்கேண்மோ அவளுட பூர்வம்கேளாய்
வதிபதி பூர்வம்சொல்வேன் மைசூரு நகரிலேதான்
நிதிமிக உடையானுக்கு நேர்ந்தனள் கர்ணசேயாய்
Not only this. He got some more trouble on account of his wife too. We will tell about it. Listen, Mother! Kindly listen to her previous birth. Her father was a rich man in Mysore. She was born as daughter to him. 
18சுகமுள குடும்பியாகி சுந்தரி வாழுநாளில்
பகையதைப் புகலக்கேண்மோ பஞ்சைகள் மதலைக்காக
தகைமையாய் அன்னம்கேட்க சர்ப்பம்போல் கோபமுற்று
வகையுட னில்லையென்றாள் மருவிற்று அதுஓர்தோஷம்
When this beautiful lady was living happily in the family, some bad things happened which I will tell. Listen! Poor people asked for food for their starving children, and this girl became angry and hissed like a serpent and said there is no food. That was one blemish.
19கொல்லையின் முனியும்வாசம் குலதெய்வம் எனத்துதிப்பார்
வல்லியும் கெருவத்தாலே மாமுனி தனைத்தொழாமல்
புலகிடும் முனியும்சாபம் பூவையே தொழாமல்நின்றாள்
கொல்லுவேன் சுதரைபாரு கூறும்பின் சென்மம்தன்னில்
In the backyard of her house, a spirit was living and that was worshipped as the family deity. She, becoming arrogant, did not worship that spirit and hence was cursed by that spirit. “In your next birth, I will kill all your children.
20உன்னிடம் வாசமாவேன் உதிக்காது சுதர்கள்தானும்
இன்னவாறு சொல்லியேதான் ஏகிற்று வேறிடத்தில்
துன்மைகள் சேர்ந்ததென்றோம் தேவிக்கு அந்தியத்தில்
தன்சுதர் யாவும்மாண்டு சஞ்சல மனத்தளாகி
I will catch hold of you. Because of that, no child will be born.” Saying so that spirit went to another place. That curse fell upon her. In her last days, all her children died and she was a worried woman.
21பித்தமாம் குணத்தளாகி பேதையு மரணமாகி
வித்தகன் வரியப்பட்டு விளங்கினா ளிக்குலத்தில்
சத்திக்கு இரண்டுசாபம் சார்ந்ததால் சந்ததியும்தோஷம்
நித்திரை காலம்தன்னில் நேரிடும் முனியும்தானும்
Because of this she became mentally ill and died. Because Brahma created her again, she took rebirth on this earth. Because of the two blemishes, she had no issues. During sleep, that spirit will come upon her.

Remedy for the curse

22சுதர்தோன்ற கிரிகையொன்று செப்புவீர் முனியேநீதான்
வதிபதி செய்வினைக்கு வரைகிறோம் கிரிகைஒன்று
பதியினில் கருமசாந்தி பண்ணியும் சத்திபீசம்
சதியிலா பஞ்சகோணந் தனிலதை அமைத்துமேதான்
Kindly tell a remedy for putradosha. Saptarishis replied, “We will tell a remedy for the past karma. Prepare a Chakra with five angles (Pancha Kona Chakra) in the house and invocate Goddess Sakthi in that chakra. 
23சத்தியின் பூசைசெய்து சகஸ்திர மந்திரம்செபித்து
வித்தகி அணிந்துகொண்டு வெள்ளியின் வாரநோன்பு
பத்தியாய் ஆறுதிங்கள் பாவையும் விரதம்கொள்ள
சுத்தின வினைகள்நீங்கி தோன்றிடும் சுதர்கள்தானே
Like that, Puja should be performed for Sakthi, chanting the thousand names of the Goddess, and she should wear the amulet. For six months, every Friday she must observe fast. As a result of this penance, all her bad deeds surrounding her will leave. Children will be born.”
24சொற்படி செய்யாராகில் சுதர்களும் தோன்றாதாகும்
சொற்படி செய்வாராகில் தோன்றிடும் ஆண்பால்ஒன்று
மைப்படி கன்னிஒன்று வரைகிறோம் தீர்க்கமாக
அப்பணி சடையோன்தேவி அருளிய மொழிகுன்றாது
If she does not do as stated above, children will never be born. But if she performs the remedies, one male and one female child will be born. Oh! Wife of Lord Shiva wearing a snake and having a knotted hair! Whatever we said will not go wrong.
25மாரன்செய் வினைகளுக்கு வரைகிறோம் கிரிகைஒன்று
ஆறுமா முகத்தோன்வாழும் (?)தணிகையூருக்கு
தீரமாய் ஏழுகார்த்தி சிலுகிலா சென்றுமேதான்
பாரினில் அந்தநாளில் பரமரடி யாரான
For the bad deeds of the native we will tell a remedy. He must visit Thiruthani Murugan temple on the day of Krittika nakshatra seven times, and he must donate food to
26இருபத்தோர் பந்துக்கன்னம் இன்பமா யளித்துமேதான்
திருமகன் உள்ளூர்சென்று தென்திசை காளிகோஷ்டம்
அரிவைக்கு அபிஷேகித்து அதுமுதல் இரண்டுஆண்டும்

(continuation from previous verse) 21 devotees of Lord Muruga with affection. Returning to his home town, he should go the temple of Goddess Lakshmi and perform Abhisheka (unction) to the Goddess and from then onwards continuously for two years he must light a lamp and perform Puja. If he does like that all his bad deeds will vanish.

Fortunes of the native

27இதுவின்றி வேறுசொல்வேன் இல்லத்தில் பிசாசுவாசம்
அதுசாந்தி யதனால்நீங்கும் அறைகிறோம் இவனின்யோகம்

Rajayoga will grow like that of an increasing Moon after the arrival of his wife. Before that, there will be unnecessary wandering on account of family like a straw on the waves.
28பாலனும் வாழ்வானாகும் பாவையால் புகழுமெய்தும்
சாலவே துயிரியங்கள் செட்டுகள் செய்தலுண்டு
ஏலவே சுதரால்யோகம் யெய்திடும் முப்பாண்டின்மேல்
ஞாலமேல் புகழுமெய்தும் நல்காது தரித்திரம்தான்
He will become famous because of his wife. He will do business as well as perform moral and religious duties. He will attain fortunes because of his children. After his 30th year, he will attain name and fame in this world. Poverty will not afflict him.

It is stated that the native will not have any issues. He may get issues only if he and his wife perform the necessary remedies as stated by the rishi. Hence the statement that he will attain fortunes due to his children is not acceptable.

29அன்னமும் குறைவுறாதான் அவன்பந்து மதிக்கவாழ்வன்
பொன்கட னில்லாவாழ்வன் பெருமையாய் வணிபம் செய்வன்
இன்னமும் விபரமாக இயம்புவோம் பின்பாகத்தில்

There will be no problem for food. His relatives will appreciate him. Will have no debts. Will do business in a noble manner. We will tell more details in the second chapter. The rishi addresses Goddess as the one who got the lofted children and asked her to listen further.

About the native’s mother

30மாதுரு குணத்தைச்சொல்வேன் மாநிறம் பித்ததேகி
ஓதுவாள் சுகமாய்வார்த்தை உள்மனம் கபடுமில்லாள்
காதலி துணைவர்காணாள் கழறுவீர் அந்தசங்கை
தீதாக நாலில்சேயும் சேர்ந்ததால் சொன்னோம்யாங்கள்
We will tell about the characteristics of the mother. She will have a wheatish complexion and a Pitta constitution. Will use comfortable and sweet words. Will not have a deceitful mind. She will have no brothers. What is the reason for that? The placement of Mars in the 4th house is the reason for that.

Here it is stated that owing to the presence of Mars in the 4th house, the native’s mother will have no siblings. Mother’s siblings are to be deduced from the 6th house (3rd from the 4th house) and the 2nd house (11th from the 4th house). These two houses viz., 6th house and the 2nd house do not show any indication for the absence of siblings for the mother. But look at Moon, karaka for mother. The 3rd from Moon is Aries and its lord Mars is debilitated in the 6th house from Moon and this is the reason for the absence of siblings for the native’s mother.

தங்கமுமீ யாதாகி ---மான் போலமறைந்தாள்
அங்கவன் வணிபன்பார்த்து அம்மாதைக் காணாதாகி
சங்கையாய் மனத்தனாகி சாற்றுவான் சாபம்தானும்
She purchased Kumkum (a red powder formed of turmeric with alum and lime juice), turmeric, and comb. But she did not pay for those things and slipped away very fast. On noticing her absence, the shopkeeper became angry and cursed her:
33ஏனமது ஆகாமுன்னம் ஏகுவான் வரனுமேதான்
வனிதைபின் சென்மம்தன்னில் மத்தியில் விதவையாகி
கனமிலா குடும்பியாகி காசினி தன்னில்வாழ்வாய்
சினமுடன் சொல்லிதூளை தூற்றினான் என்றுசொல்லுவோம்
“Even before you finish using the Kumkum, your husband will die. In your next birth, you will become a widow and live in an ignoble family.”
34மாதுக்கு அந்தஆண்டில் மாரனும் மரித்துமேதான்
காதலி வருத்தமுற்றுக் காலன்தன் பதிக்குச்சென்று
வேதனால் வரியப்பட்டு விளங்கினாள் என்றுசொல்வோம்
சூதாக வணியன்சாபம் சேர்ந்ததால் தோகைக்கேதான்
In the same year, her husband died. She also reached the abode of Yama with grief. She was created again by Brahms and took this birth. The curse of the previous birth came upon her.
35ஆதியில் வரனுமாள்வன் அவளுமே சிறையாய்வாழ்வள்
நீதியாய் ஈரெட்டாண்டில் நிமலியு மரிப்பாளாகும்
காதலி பின்சென்மம்கேள் கடையூரில் யிக்குலத்தில்
நீதியா யுதிப்பாளாகும் நிமலியே கேட்டிடாயே
In the beginning her husband will die. She will also go to jail. She will also die righteously when the native is 16 years of age. In her next birth, she will be born in Thirukkadayur in the same caste. Listen, Parvati!

இருநான்கு திங்கட்குள்ளே ஏகுவான் காலநாடு
மறுசென்மம் தணிகைதன்னில் வருகுவான் ரெட்டிவம்சம்
கரிமத வானைப்பெற்ற காதலி கேட்டிடாயே.
He was born again, created by Brahma. He will die within 8 months after the birth of the native. The next birth will be in the Reddy community in Tiruthani. Oh! Begetter of elephant headed Lord Ganesha! Listen.

Last days of the native

38பாலகன் தனக்குகண்டம் பகருவோம் அறுபதாண்டில்
சாலவே கெண்டம்நேரும் சண்டனைக் காணானாகும்
ஏலவே அறுபானெட்டில் இடபமா தத்திலேதான்
கோலமாய் யுடலம்ஏகும் கூறுவோ மிவன்பின்சென்மம்
The native will face a danger to his life in his 60th year. But he will not meet Yama (meaning, will not die). But in his 68th year, in the month of Taurus (May-June), he will die. We will tell about his next birth.
